Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (SDSD)

THE OBJECTIVES OF:

This course aims to equip designated personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to perform security duties onboard ship as defined in Section A-VI/6 of the STCW Code, Section B/13.3 of the ISPS Code and IMO Model Course 3.26.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

This course is highly relevant for seafarers designated to perform security duties, including anti-piracy and anti-armed robbery related activities.
