Security Awareness Training for all Seafarers (SAT)


THE OBJECTIVES OF:

    This course aims to equip designated personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to enhance security duties onboard ship as defined in Section A-VI/6 of the STCW Code, Section B/13.4 of the ISPS Code and IMO Model Course 3.27.


ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

    This course is relevant for all seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity onboard a ship without designated security duties.

    • Introduction

    • Maritime Security Policy - ISPS Code

    • Ship Security Plan – Security Levels, SSAS, Security Measures

    • Threat Identification, Recognition, and Responses

    • Anti-Piracy & Armed Robbery Against Ship
